Today was the official day for us to strap down my beast on the dyno. We used a Superflow dyno similar to what HPA has. My R32 hit 826.3hp on the dyno and it was spinning bad. We never got above 5800rpms. Despite trying to dry the tires, addidng sticky spray to it, and lowering tire pressure it just kept spinning. The car also was only at 31psi which I know is a lot but it is capable of running at 40 psi. The setup should be easily capable of 1000hp.
I can't thank Jeff at United Motorsports enough for this tune. The E-85 is amazing and I have plenty of fueling which is fed by dual Aeromotive A1000 pumps. I have a video for now and I will post up the charts tomorrow once I get them scanned in. I am so pleased with the results. This car is a monster!! Below is a list of modifications so far as well.

Bonneville World Of Speed 2010

Bonneville World of Speed was held last week Sept. 15th-18th It was our first time ever attending and the results were great. This was an amazing life changing event. It is just like all of the others that have been there said. The salt draws you in and is so addicting. We will be going back next year for sure so I can obtain my B and A license so I can go over 200mph.
This being our first year we were limited to the short course which is a 2 mile timed course. Our top average speed on the shorter 2 mile course was 158.99mph and my top quarter mile time was in the final 1/4 measured at the end and I was at 5.5 seconds. My top speed that I reached on the speedometer was 180mph and the top speed recorded was 167mph on the gps. There was lots of wheel spin and lots of floating going on. The car flat out moves though. The setup was insane. The E-85 has really woke up the car. Jeff at United Motorsports has done an excellent job with this tune We still have yet to dyno it but we are expecting around 650awhp to 750 awhp.

VW 02M Shift Fork Issues

So here are some pics for those of you with a 6 speed  02M transmissions that might have lost some gears in the past or might lose some in the future. This is a very common problem in these transmissions and typically what happens is that all of a sudden you will lose some gears like 1-2. The problem lies in the shift fork design which is riveted on from the factory. The fastener becomes loose and when you jam the car into 2nd it just falls off. Below are pics of a customers 02M transmission that this just recently happened to. Bluewater Performance has a way to reinforce the fork so that this does not happen again in the future.Denver VW Performance
You can see in this picture below that in the bottom right the steel bracket that is riveted to the 1-2 shift fork is missing.

Here is the piece that is actually missing.

2004 VW R32 Adjustable Rear Control Arms

Bluewater Performance has been manufacturing these adjustable control arms for 2 years now without any issues whatsoever. We even run 2 sets in our race car and the adjustment makes it so easy to change from a track setup to a street setup. We started manufacturing these for GnG Motorsports and continue to manufacture them even though GNG is no longer around.
$240.00 Shipped Per Set
Custom Aluminum Adjustable Control Arms for the rear (top or bottom) of your MK4 VW R32, MK1 Audi TT AWD and many other 4Motion setups like Audi S3 AWD and Golf/BORA AWD editions not in the USA) to adjust camber in lowered cars. (1) pair for the lower rear; replaces stock control arms. These are the strongest aftermarket control arms for your Volkswagen MK4 R32 or MK1 Audi TT AWD! Order 2 sets (upper and lower) and have more adjustability of your camber and toe!

The rod itself is a 3/4" threaded tube made out of T6061 T6 aluminum and is beefed up to 1 1/8" thick and anodized black for longevity. The heim joint is a chrome moly heim with 420 grade stainless inserts and spacers. Anything less than chrome moly will deteriorate faster over time, and ours include a rubber boot for added protection for those in salty or unsavory weather conditions. The clevis end is cold rolled 1/4" plate stainless steel that is laser cut and has a Grade 10 plated rh thread 3/4" fine thread bolt welded to it. The head of the bolt has been machined down as well for clearance. The clevis design with the bolt is not the nicest looking design but it was the strongest that we could find.
If you need more adjustment we suggest purchasing 2 sets for uppers and lowers. You will get more camber and toe adjustability with 2 sets. As with all suspension parts, it is recommended that you install new hardware with your new arms to ensure proper install.
